1991 INTERNATIONAL MEETING
CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF THE Z IN EUROPE
Wells - Sunday 18th August 1991
Our first objective was Stonehenge, 5,000 years ahead into the past! A very impressive landmark.
Today was organised by the Z Club of Great Britain. So Steve Burns and his better half, Pauline, had organised a caravan, which led about 40 Zs over small and winding roads without losing one car. You start with a Honda Goldwing (Thanks Doug!), also a Chevette at the end, making sure it is the only car with headlights on and has CB contact with Doug on the Goldwing, simple really!
th eparty was split into two, some visited the cold and dark area of Wokey Hole, the rest of us decided to do some sightseeing of Wells.
We returned to Andover and rumour has it that the very last persons to be heard in the bar were a certain Liaison Officer, Editor and Honorary President at 3 oÂ'clock in the morning. This was denied by all concerned!
