1991 INTERNATIONAL MEETING
CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF THE Z IN EUROPE
Fourways Engineering, Kent - Wednesday 21st August 1991
Fourways specialises in Zs, Ferraris and Aston Martins. We were invited to look over their shoulders on a day in the life of a specialist.
We were invited to test our cars on the rolling road, but alas it wasn't working, however we did see how Manfred Heldt's alternator was repaired within an hour (and free of charge!). We could also watch how the windscreen of a Z was replaced inside an hour. It it was proven that some British know how to prepare good coffee!
After a few hours we decided to go back to Andover in a very small convoy. Jon in front followed by Manfred and Gudrun and myself. Somewhere along the road we found a pub, some cider and somewhere for Zoe to play.
We went back to the White Hart in Andover and met the rest of the ‘MunichConn', who had had a very interesting day in Oxford.
